30-year old American point guard Erick Neal (178-PG-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Al Ittihad Jeddah and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He recorded a triple-double of 31 points adding also 10 rebounds and 12 assists, while his team edged out Al-Muharraq (#3, 2-4) 91-87. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Ittihad to consolidate first place in the West Asia Super League. Al Ittihad have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Neal had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Ittihad's top player in his first season with the team. University of Texas at Arlington graduate has very impressive stats this year. Neal is league's best passer with 13.0apg. Neal is in league's top in and averages solid 3.0spg and 51.4% FGP. Worth to mention Neal played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Nick West (210-F-1994) of Al-Muharraq. He is American forward in his first season at Al-Muharraq. In the last game West recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Al-Muharraq was edged by slightly higher-ranked Al Ittihad (#1, 5-1) 91-87. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Al-Muharraq still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. West is a newcomer at Al-Muharraq and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.0ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 10.5rpg and 3.7apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Al Ittihad's star - forward Elijah Thomas (210-F-1996). Thomas scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Al Ittihad Jeddah, helping his team with a 91-87 win against #3 ranked Al-Muharraq. Al Ittihad confirms their top position in the standings. Thomas has a very solid season. In 2 games in West Asia Super League he scored 25.0ppg.
